Summer Sun
As with this country, the weather can be unpredictable, and sunshine
cannot always be guaranteed! That said, the further south you go the
warmer and drier it is more likely to be!
Time for some sun!
France is the size of the state of Texas, and the weather can vary
dramatically from region to region. This has its advantages, as families
can choose a region that has a climate to suit them: For example, Brittany
and Normandy have a pleasant warm climate but not too hot, ideal for
families who don't want too much heat. The Med has the warmest and
driest climate, while the Vendée and Charente coastlines are
known for their sunshine hours - a great region for sun worshippers!
Bordeaux and the Atlantic coast are said to have the most pleasant
climate with warm, dry weather according to Parisiens who frequently
retreat to these regions during the summer months.
Get away from the crowds
If you want to get away from the crowds, try travelling inland where
the weather can be pleasantly warm and enjoyable. Apart from the weather,
you will avoid the crowds on the beach - try a lakeside site, and enjoy
the stunning scenery and agreeable climate.
